I was on the fence about what e bike I wanted to buy. There are so many on the market, some similar, other completely different. I knew I needed a lighter bike as I live in an apartment with two other roommates and have to carry the bike up my stairs as well.
As I was unsure, I contacted Iconic support with some lingering questions I had. They were able to answer all the questions I had in regard to the Ultra-Light. This is a big plus as I had questions regarding other companies' bikes, however, either didn't hear back or had to wait a sufficient amount of time.
The fact that you don't see the battery component was a huge win for me, which ultimately swayed me to buy this bike as most other light weight e bikes on the market don't have this feature. To be honest, it doesn't even look like an e bike.
Upon receiving the bike, I did have some initial questions with the assembly. I reached once more to support and within an hour was sent additional help in how to assemble the bike.
Per my first ride on the ultra-light, I immediately was happy with my purchase. The pedal assist makes it incredibly easy to exercise and switch to a nice cruise when I don't feel as inclined to "bike". After a few miles, it can be nice to just sit back and let the bike do the work. The Pedal Assist has a few options in regard to speed, which makes the ride even more fun.
The fact that this E bike is lighter than some really bikes I have owned in the past makes my day to day easier. As I live in the bay area, public transportation is a big part of my day and commute. Bringing a bike on the train or bus is usually a nightmare, with the ultra-light it's made this experience way more pleasant.
If you are looking for a fast electric bike, this may not be the one for you. If you are looking for a realistic means of transportation and live in a city, I would say this bike is best suited for this. All in all, the ultra-light is Fun, Light, convenient, and really easy to use!
